We applied CEA in a recent urban decarbonisation design competition in China. Data collection was seamless, and results were available almost instantly - enabling rapid, quantitative comparison of design scenarios.

National Infrastructure Decarbonisation

CEA-4 Pro has been successfully applied to evaluate the economic KPIs and decarbonisation potential of district cooling systems by a professional at the Ministry of Public Works using their headquarter campus.

The findings establish a data-driven foundation for new municipal planning policies, serving as the blueprint for upcoming national capacity-building programmes for city planners. Works carried out includes formulation of local database, data calibration using measured data, CEA district cooling design and assessment.

CISBAT Best Poster Award

Urban Densification & Decarbonisation Trade-off Study

A research on the carbon implications of urban densification was recognised with the Best Poster Award at CISBAT 2025.

The study validates CEAโ€™s capacity to simulate the complex interplays between block typology (form), density, and Net-Zero targets. This methodology allows developers and city planners to prove the environmental feasibility of high-density projects during the earliest design stages.

Shanghai Climate Week, we collaborated with Swissnex in China to hosted the third (2025) CEA User Meeting in Shanghai and released CEA-4.
